Just this past Sunday, I had the pleasure of participating in a Mitzvah Expo at the DoubleTree Hotel NW in Marietta. All I can say is WOW. What a great turn out. I displayed a nice candy buffet to show guests how they can create an unforgettable candy buffet which will be pleasing to both adults and kids. For a while there, I thought the adults actually enjoyed the candy buffet more than the kids. There’s just something about a nice table decorated with a variety of candies which are displayed in assorted vases. Whether you’re looking for an usually treat for your wedding reception, your big 30th birthday and certainly your child’s Mitzvah, a nicely decorated candy buffet will please all palates!

After the Mitzvah, I quickly changed from my formal suit into a nice comfortable dress and headed out to StudioWed’s grand opening. From the moment you entered the studio area, it was simply grand! Michelle did such a wonderful job in putting this event together. It was arranged in such a way for the brides to be able to communicate with each and every single vendor that would make her wedding day magical. Under the tent (which featured AC) a spectacular fashion show was held. These models who were stunning and amazingly beautiful walked to very classical music led by an 8 piece orchestra. Under the tent also featured some amazing table décor and the nicest china any bride would love to call her own. Plenty of food stations ready to please every palate and amazing wine. What’s a grand opening without cake? Jamie Fine of Sugar Plums Visions certainly took care of that. Jamie makes some of the best cakes you’ve ever tasted and don’t get me started on her sugar cookies! To end the evening, brides were treated to an Oscar Style Swag Bag which featured some of the most amazing goodies including a complimentary ticket to the Atlantan Bride’s event coming up in September. If you missed this show, you must make an attempt to attend any of their shows because I can assure you, it’s always an event to remember.
